OshBook is strictly an organizational reminder tool and self-tracking application. OshBook is NOT a licensed medical device, healthcare provider, or pharmacy tool. The app does NOT provide medical advice, professional diagnosis, prescription advice, or treatment recommendations.
Always consult your physician, pharmacist, or qualified healthcare professional regarding your prescriptions, dosages, side effects, or medical decisions. Never rely solely on OshBook or disregard medical advice because of information in the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the OshBook mobile app or visiting oshbook.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Intended Use & Device Responsibilities
OshBook is designed to help users track medication schedules, pill inventories, and adherence logs. You are solely responsible for:
- Entering accurate medication names, dosage amounts, time schedules, and doctor instructions.
- Ensuring your Android device settings allow OshBook to display notifications and sound exact alarms (e.g., disabling battery optimization or battery saver restrictions for OshBook).
- Verifying that your mobile device is charged, turned on, and functioning properly.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OshBook, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of:
- Missed, delayed, or improper medication doses caused by device power failure, system updates, operating system kill policies, or incorrect user input.
- Any health issues, adverse drug interactions, or medical complications resulting from medication management decisions.
- Loss or corruption of local data on your device.
4. Privacy & Data Policies
Your use of OshBook is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Data & Account Deletion Policy. All medication records remain stored locally on your device.
5. Intellectual Property & License
All branding, logos, design assets, and source code associated with OshBook and oshbook.com are the exclusive intellectual property of OshBook. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.
